New Delhi: After the success of the pilot teacher training programme, CBSE is now launching structured Online Teacher Training programmes through its Centre of Excellence (CoE).
The online training programmes will enable teachers to upgrade themselves with the latest developments in teaching methodology.
This upgradation will help them to teach better and get the desired learning outcomes from students.
The duration for each online session will be of one hour. The training programmes are free of cost.
As per the Affiliation Byelaw, attending five online sessions will be counted as one day of training. After the training, e-certificates will be issued to each participant.
The schedule for the online training sessions in the month of May, along with the participation guidelines have been uploaded by the board on its official website.
CoEs have planned over 1200 online sessions for this month.
In the pilot programme, the board had conducted over 500 online training sessions, and more than 35,000 teachers and Principals participated in the programme.
