CBSE Reopens LOC Submission Portal For 2026 Board Exams Till October 11

The LOC portal, which was closed on September 30 without late fees, has now been reopened from October 3 to complete the delayed submissions

NEW DELHI:  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the List of Candidates (LOC) submission portal for schools to register students appearing in the Class 10 and 12 board examinations for the 2025–26 academic session.

The decision was taken after several schools failed to submit their details within the previously prescribed schedule despite multiple reminders.

According to the latest CBSE circular, schools can now submit the LOC with late fees via challan until October 8, 2025 (11:59 pm), and through other payment modes — including Internet banking, UPI, debit/credit cards, NEFT, RTGS, and international payments — until October 11, 2025 (11:59 pm).

“All Principals who have still not submitted their LOC are therefore directed to ensure that the LOC for their respective schools is completed and submitted within the prescribed timeframe with late fees,” a notification issued by the CBSE said.

The CBSE highlighted that despite “repeated reminders, communications, and ample time given”, many affiliated schools failed to upload their data within the earlier deadlines — September 22 for challan payments and September 30 for online payments.

The CBSE confirmed that the portal, which was closed on September 30 without late fees, has now been reopened from October 3 to complete the delayed submissions.

An official cautioned that no submissions would be accepted under any circumstances after October 11.

“Schools failing to submit their LOCs by the final deadline will bear full responsibility for the non-compliance and any resulting consequences, including the ineligibility of their candidates to appear for the Board Examinations 2026,” the circular, signed by Joint Secretary (Coordination Unit) Satpal Kaur, said.
