HYDERABAD: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rescheduled the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the December 2024 session. The CTET 2024, which was slated for December 15, 2024, will now be conducted on December 14, 2024, in 136 cities across India.
This change has been made to avoid clash with several other government examinations scheduled for December 15.
“As per the information received from various candidates, several competitive examinations are scheduled to take place in some states and union territories on December 15, 2024 (Sunday). Therefore, in the interest of candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET examination on December 14, 2024 (Saturday). If the number of candidates in any city exceeds capacity, the exam may also be held on December 15, 2024 (Sunday),” said a notice issued by the CBSE.
