Central Pollution Control Board Announces Recruitment For Various Posts 

Interested candidates can submit their forms online through the official website cpcb.nic.in by April 28

NEW DELHI: The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is inviting application forms for various posts. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their forms through the official website, cpcb.nic.in.

The last date for submission of application is April 28.

Age relaxation will be given to reserve category candidates as per rules.

Eligibility criteria such as educational qualification and experience are different for each post. Only Indian nationals can apply. Candidates can check the official notification for more details.

The application fee is Rs. 1,000 for the two-hour exam and Rs. 500 for the one-hour exam.

Applicants need not upload the scanned copies of academic credential and supporting documents with the application form. They need to produce these at the time of document verification, the CPCB said.

“Applicants are advised to ensure before applying that they possess essential qualification and experience for the post. The experience, qualification and age will be reckoned as on the last date for submission of application i.e. 28.04.2025. No updating of qualification and experience will be entertained after the last date,” said the notification.

Instructions for candidates

  • The candidates of only Indian Nationality can apply for these posts.
  • Fee for two hours exam Rs. 750 exam fee + Rs. 250 for test session (Rs. 1000) while the same for one hour exam is Rs. 350 exam fee + Rs. 150 for test session (Rs. 500)
  • The SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen and women are exempted from examination fee
  • All candidates are required to register and pay a test session charge (Rs. 250/- for two hour test and Rs. 150/- for one hour test) at the time of registration.
  • Experience specified for the above posts shall be the experience acquired after obtaining the essential educational qualifications prescribed for the posts.
  • Applicants are advised to ensure before applying that they possess essential qualification and experience for the post.
  • The experience, qualification and age will be reckoned as on the last date for submission of application i.e. 28.04.2025.
  • No updating of qualification and experience will be entertained after the last date.
  • Application once submitted cannot be altered / resubmitted, under any circumstances.
  • CPCB shall verify the antecedents and documents submitted by applicants at any time, at the time of appointment or during the tenure of service.
  • In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issuance of appointment letter, CPCB reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the applicants.
  • The reservations/ relaxations policy for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman applicants will be as per the existing Govt. of India policy. Applicants applying for the reserved posts should clearly state to which category they belong.
  • The applicants serving in Govt./Semi. Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Organisation must obtain No Objection Certificate from their employer and produced it at the time of documents verification.
