Check 5 Other Management Entrance Exams Other Than CAT

Bhubaneswar: The Common Admission Test (CAT) is the most sought-after entrance examination for the management aspirants seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and other top B-schools across the country.

The CAT 2021, the registration for which is complete and is scheduled for November 28, is a highly competitive exam and many are unable to crack it.

If one is determined to pursue management studies and fails to crack the CAT, he/she can look for few other entrance exams which are slightly easier to clear. Here’s a list of five other entrance exams in random order to pick from.

XAT 2022

Xavier Admission Test (XAT) is conducted for admission to postgraduate management courses in over 160 institutions, which includes the prestigious XLRI- Xavier School of Management. Registration for the exam is currently on with November 30 as the deadline to apply. Check xatonline.in for further details.

IIFT MBA (IB) 2022-24

The flagship programme of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is MBA (International Business). This is a six-trimester general management residential course focusing on international business. The IIFT provides admission based on its MBA (IB) entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Registration for the exam is on. Check official website iift.nta.nic.in.

CMAT

A national-level entrance exam — Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) — is held for admission management programmes of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-affiliated institutions in the country. AICTE used to conduct the test till 2018, but NTA took over the reins the next year. The registration for MAT 2021 is complete. The details will soon be announced on cmat.nta.nic.in.

SNAP 2021

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) institutes grant admission to MBA courses through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP). A total of 15 other institutes accept the entrance exam scores for admission. SNAP 2021 is scheduled for December 19, 2021, January 8, 2022, and January 16, 2022. MAT

The most standardised test for admission to MBA programmes in over 600 B-schools across the country is the Management Aptitude Test (MAT). MAT 2021 for the September session is complete and results have also been declared. Visit mat.aima.in for more clarification.
