NEW DELHI: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has launched a recruitment drive for the constable (tradesman) posts.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, www.cisf.gov.in. Registration for the recruitment drive will begin on March 5. The last date for submitting application forms is April 3, said a notification issued by the CISF.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 1,161 posts.
CISF is recruiting for multiple trades under the constable tradesman category. The distribution of vacancies is as follows:
- Constable Cook: 493
- Constable Cobbler: 09
- Constable Tailor: 23
- Constable Barber: 199
- Constable Washerman: 262
- Constable Sweeper: 152
- Constable Painter: 02
- Constable Carpenter: 09
- Constable Electrician: 04
- Constable Gardener: 04
- Constable Welder: 01
- Constable Charge-man (Mechanical): 01
- Constable Motor Pump Attendant: 02
Eligibility criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognised board.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 28 years as of August 1, 2025. Age relaxations will be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
Selection process
The selection process consists of multiple stages, including:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Document Verification
- Written Examination
- Medical Examination
Salary Structure Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the range of Rs 21,700 and Rs 69,100 as per the pay scale.
Application Fee: General, OBC, and EWS candidates need to pay Rs.100 as the application fee. SC/ST and female candidates are exempted from the fee.
Candidates are advised to submit their application for one trade only. If the candidate submits multiple applications for two/more Trades, only the first application will be processed further.

Step 1: Log on to the official website of CISF, https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on “Login” button on the home page
Step 3: Click on “New Registration” button on the new page
Step 4: Fill up basic and personal details
Step 5: Click on ‘Declaration’ button and then ‘Submit’ button.
Step 6: Registration Number and Password will be sent to your registered Email-ID and mobile number.
Step 7: Login using your Registration-Number as user name and password provided
Step 8: click button of “CONSTABLE/TRADESMAN-2024”.
Step 9: Fill in details and click on “SUBMIT” button
Step 10: Upload your photograph, signature and other required document
Step 11: Pay the fee and submit
