Class X Odia Paper: CBSE Forms Committee To Investigate Discrepancies In Questions & Answer Key
Bhubaneswar: An expert panel was set up by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to probe into the alleged discrepancies in the questions and the answer key of Odia paper of Class X Term 1 examination.
Based on the expert committee’s report, the board will take a call within 24 hours.
“CBSE has set up an expert committee to examine the discrepancies being flagged in the questions and the answer key of Odia Class X paper. An appropriate decision will be taken by the Board within 24 hours, on the basis of the report of the expert committee,” the CBSE tweeted on Monday, March 14.
It may be recalled that the CBSE had announced the Term-1 examination results on March 12. Soon after, several students wrote on Twitter and claimed that the question paper had several mistakes and grace marks were not awarded for the same.
Some even claimed that there were as many as 12 wrong answers in the paper.
