Class XII Accountancy: CBSE Calls ‘Grace Marks’ Reports Fake & Baseless

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said on Tuesday that no decision has been made yet to give up to 6 grace marks to students who had appeared for the class XII accountancy paper.

The board came out with the statement following reports emerging about the board granting grace marks quoting an audio message from the exam controller Sanyam Bharadwaj.

The CBSE cited the reports as fake and baseless and said that no reporter has spoken to the exam controller. It said that the board has not taken any such decision as yet.

The Class XII accountancy paper was conducted by the CBSE on December 13.

However, the Board dropped a controversial passage asked in Class X English paper following strong objection from students, parents and political leaders on Monday.
