New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University administration has released an official notification dated January 11, 2020, informing students that all classes and other academic activities in all Schools/Special Centres are going resume from January 13, 2020.
The circular further states that winter semester registration is going on and the campus is peaceful and students who are out-of-station are requested to return to the university on time to resume their studies.
Students of JNU have been holding strikes and marches since last few months against hostel fee hike. The university also witnessed violent attack on some students and faculty by unknown attackers on January 5, 2020.
