Completion Of Master’s Degree Deadline For National Eligibility Test Extended
Bhubaneswar: The last date for completing the Master’s degree or equivalent course with requisite percentage of marks as per the eligibility of National Eligibility Test (NET) has been extended till December 31, 2021.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) issued a notification to this effect.
According to the eligibility conditions for National Eligibility Test (NET), the candidates who are pursuing Master’s degree or equivalent course or who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination with result awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed are eligible to apply for the exam.
However, such candidates are admitted provisionally and are considered as eligible for award of JRF/eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they have passed their Master’s degree or equivalent examination with requisite percentage of marks within two years from the date of NET result, the official UGC notification stated.
