In view of the surging death toll due to the corona pandemic, the US government has ordered schools and colleges here to remain closed for the entire academic session.
According to a CNN report, all the governors in the United States have ordered statewide closure of schools to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
This decision has been implemented in 37 US states including Washington DC, Florida, Texas and Washington.
These states have asked students to study at home during the lockdown period.
However, many states of America are in favour of re-opening the schools following the social distancing norms.
The novel COVID-19 virus has wreaked havoc in America by leaving 46,000 people dead.
