HYDERABAD: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on January 1 has released the answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 and the candidates’ response sheets.
The candidates can check and download the answer keys from the official website, ctet.nic.in.
“All the candidates who appeared in CTET held on 14th and 15th December, 2024 are informed that the scanned images of OMR Answer Sheet of the candidates &Answer Keys are uploaded on the website https://ctet.nic.in/ from 01/01/2025 to 05/01/2025 (upto11:59PM),” a notification issued by the CTET Director said.

Candidates dissatisfied with the CTET 2024 answer key can raise objections by January 5. A non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question is required to be submitted through a credit/debit card.
If the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. if any mistake is noticed by the subject experts in the answer key, a policy decision will be notified and the fee shall be refunded, the notification said.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed online to the credit/debit card accounts used for payment. So, candidates are advised to use their own credit/debit cards for payment. The Board’s decisions regarding challenges are final, and no further communication will be entertained, it added.
How to check CTET December 2024 answer key
Step 1: Go to the official website, ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the CTET 2024 answer key link on the home page
Step 3: Enter your credentials such as roll number and date of birth
Step 4: The provisional answer key will be displayed
Step 5: Download the answer key and raise challenges if required
Step 6: Pay the fees
Step 7: Download the payment receipt for reference

To pass the CTET, a candidate must score 60% or higher. The school managements—including government, local bodies, government-aided, and unaided institutions—may provide concessions to candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, and differently-abled individuals, per their existing reservation policies.
Candidates will receive weightage for their scores during the recruitment process; however, qualifying the CTET does not guarantee recruitment or employment. It is merely one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
