CUET UG 2025 Provisional Key Released, Objection Window Opens

Candidates can view provisional answers and raise objections during the official challenge window, which is open from June 17 to 11 pm on June 20

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025.

Candidates can now check the provisional answers and response sheets on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.

In case of any discrepancy, the candidates can raise objections during the answer key-challenge window, which will remain open from June 17 to up to 11 pm on June 20, said a notification issued by the NTA.

The last date for payment of the objection fee is also June 20.

The candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for further updates on the final answer key and result declaration.

How to check CUET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key

Step 1: Visit the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Go to the “Candidate Activity” section

Step 3: Click on the CUET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key link

Step 4: Enter application number and date of birth

Step 5: Download the PDF and save it for reference

Raising objections

The NTA has also enabled the objection window, allowing candidates to challenge the provisional answers. Each objection must be submitted with a fee of Rs 200 per question.

How to raise objections

Step 1: Visit the official website https://cuet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’.

Step 3: Login with Application Number and Password and enter the captcha as displayed and submit.

Step 4: Click on “View Question Paper” for marked/recorded responses and to view or challenge the Answer keys, click on the link “Click to view/Challenge Answer Key”.

Step 5: Refer to the question paper and match the corresponding Question IDs to those listed in the Answer Key.

Step 6: The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to the question.

Step 7: If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.

Step 8: Upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).

Step 9: After clicking your desired option, scroll down, ‘Submit and review Claims’ and move to the next screen.

Step 10: All the Option IDs you have challenged will be displayed

Step 11: Click on ‘Modify your Claims’ in case you wish to modify the claims OR ‘Final Submit’.

Step 12: You will find a screen displaying your Challenges.

Step 13: Pay the fee by clicking on ‘Pay Now’.

Step 14: In case of any difficulty, dial 011 – 40759000 or send a mail to cuet-ug@nta.ac.in.

The NTA will review all challenges, and its decision on the final answer key will be binding. The final CUET UG result will be based on the revised key after evaluating valid objections.
