Bhubaneswar: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the CUET UG 2025 registration deadline. According to the latest notice, candidates can now apply until March 24, 2025.
Eligible candidates are encouraged to complete it on the official website on cuet.nta.nic.in. Initially, the registration process began on March 1, and the registration deadline was March 22, but it has now been extended to March 24, 2025.
Additionally, the deadline for fee submission has been also extended from March 23 to March 25 until 11:50 PM. The application correction window will be open from March 26 to March 28. Candidates aspiring for undergraduate admissions in central, state, private, deemed, and government institutions must complete the online form.
However, the CUET UG 2025 exam is scheduled to take place from May 8 to June 1, 2025, as a computer-based test across India and in 15 international cities. While the detailed paper-wise schedule will be announced later, candidates are advised to complete their applications on time to avoid last-minute technical issues.
The official notice reads, ‘Online submission of application for the above-mentioned exam in the progress at cuet.nta.nic.in from March 1, 2025, onwards. In continuation to the public notice dated March 1, 2025, regarding submission of online application form for CUET (UG) 2025 and in response to multiple requests received from candidates to extend the last date for submission of online application form, NTA has decided to extend the late date for submission of online application form for CUET (UG) 2025.’
To be eligible for CUET UG 2025, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board, a two-year Pre-University or Intermediate exam, or a Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination. Those with an AICTE or State Board-approved three-year diploma, an NIOS Senior Secondary exam with five subjects, or the Joint Services Wing of NDA final exam can also apply.
For CUET UG 2025 registration, candidates need the following documents:
- Class 10 & 12 Marksheet – For academic details.
- Government ID Proof – Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, or passport.
- Recent Passport-size Photograph – As per the given specifications.
- Signature Scan – In the required format.
- Category Certificate (if applicable) – For SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates.
- PwD Certificate (if applicable) – For persons with disabilities.
- Domicile Certificate (if required) – Depending on the university’s criteria.
Steps to Apply for CUET UG 2025 Registration
- Visit the Official Website – Go to cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on Registration Link – Find and select the “CUET UG 2025 Registration” link.
- Fill in the Application Form – Enter personal, academic, and contact details carefully.
- Upload Documents – Submit scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and required certificates.
- Pay the Application Fee – Complete the payment using a debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Review & Submit – Check all details before final submission.
- Download Confirmation Page – Save and print the confirmation slip for future reference.
