Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Monday that the state government will be taking a decision over the next two days on when to reopen schools, reported The Times of India.
Sawant had formed a consultation committee in September, consisting of education sector officials and experts, along with representatives of Headmasters and Parent Teacher Associations (PTA).
The committee was asked to consult education sector stakeholders to recommend a suitable time for reopening schools.
Speaking to the reporters, Sawant said, “The consultation process is over, the decision (reopening schools) will be made tomorrow or day after.”
