New Delhi: The Directorate of Education has signed a memorandum of understanding with Avanti Fellows, an organisation that prepares students for entrance examinations like JEE, NEET and paramedical ones.
This year, the students will be prepared through tests and will be offered academic support and regular mentoring. Delhi government had introduced the facility in a few schools as a pilot project. Gradually, all science students will be covered. Currently, more than 30,000 students are enrolled in the science stream across all government schools.
The step is in line with providing world-class education to students whose parents can’t afford expensive coaching.
