New Delhi: The first merit list for nursery admissions in Delhi schools is set to be released on Saturday, March 20. The registration process was carried out from February 18 to March 4 for over 1,700 schools here.
Parents have been advised to check the websites of the respective schools they have applied for. The merit lists for nursery, KG and Class I will be uploaded on the website.
The merit list for nursery admissions will have the students’ names along with the points scored by them. A waiting list of candidates will also be released by the schools.
Parents will have to submit the documents and take part in the verification process after the first merit list is released.
According to the Delhi nursery admission system, each candidate will be awarded points out of 100.
Children up to four years of age will be enrolled in Nursery, while for KG and Class 1, the age limit is five and six years, respectively.
The minimum age for nursery admissions is three years, and for KG admissions, it is four years.
The second merit list will be announced by March 25, and the admission process will be over by March 31. The classes are likely to begin on April 1, reported NDTV.
