Delhi University To Set Up Research Centre For Plant Sciences
New Delhi: Delhi University will construct a facility centre at Shahbad Dairy in Rohini to study plant sciences and promote research work in the field.
The new campus will focus on teaching and research in different branches of plant sciences, which include agriculture, horticulture and plant genetics.
A Delhi University faculty team headed by the pro-vice-chancellor Professor PC Joshi paid a visit to the area for inspection for the upcoming research centre.
Earlier, the varsity had begun the admission process for foreign students for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Applications were invited online on the official website of Foreign Students’ Registry (FSR) fsr2021.du.ac.in.
