New Delhi: The Maitreyi College under Delhi University has invited applications for the post of assistant professors in various departments. As per a notification issued, the recruitment will be carried out for 71 vacancies.
Maitreyi College is a NAAC accredited A grade college. The College had many ‘firsts’ to its credit – it is the first College in the University of Delhi to offer PG Diploma in Nanotechnology and the first to adopt E-Learning methodology to create teaching material.

Eligibility:
1. Candidates should possess a master’s degree with 55 per cent marks and should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR.
2. Candidates with PhD degree are exempted from having the above qualification provided the PhD has been obtained from a foreign university or institute featuring among the top 500 universities worldwide in the Times Higher Education Survey, The Academic Ranking of the World University of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University or QS ranking.
Selection:
The candidates will be shortlisted by a selection committee for interviews.
The number of candidates to be called for interview for the faculty position shall be determined after the screening of applications in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the executive council.
