New Delhi: Union Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met an all-women delegation from Drishti Stree Adhyayan Prabhodhan Kendra (DSAPK) on Friday.
The DSAPK is a women’s study centre working on researching and understanding the vital and important issues regarding women’s status in society. A report titled “Status of Women in India” was also presented to the Union Education Minister, according to a PIB release.
The delegation shared suggestions on enhancing gender sensitivity through education, increasing girl students’ participation in NCC/NSS/Scouts and Guides, promoting skill development and sports and other issues of relevance for girl students.
