Mumbai: A collaboration between India 2022 Coalition and Hindustan Unilever will introduce a digital curriculum for public schools in Maharashtra on waste management through the DIKSHA app.
Remarking that “children have the potential” to lead the change in attitudes regarding environment conservation, Commissioner of Education, Maharashtra, Vishal Solanki affirmed the commitment of the state government for “improving cleanliness and sanitation in the state through waste management and segregation.”
In partnership with HUL and Xynteo, Academy for Earth Sustainability (AES) organisation will curate the digital curriculum, which will include cartoons and interactive content to fuel the passion of teachers and students under the ‘Waste No More’ initiative, The Tribune reported.
