New Delhi: Applications have been invited by the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Young Scientists’ Laboratory For Smart Materials (DYSL-SM) for the engagement of four (4) Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) to work on several projects.
The selected candidates will work in the areas of materials informatics and computational materials modelling for accelerated material discovery and application of smart materials to micro-robotics and stealth technologies, a notification issued by DYSL-SM said.

Essential Qualification
For Metallurgical/Material Science Engineering, aspirants must have BE/BTech degree with First Class in Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering and a valid GATE score (OR) ME/MTech with First Class in Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering (and first class BE/BTech in the same subject).
Similarly for Mechanical Engineering, the candidate must have BE/BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class with a valid GATE score (OR) ME/MTech with First class in Mechatronics / Robotics & Automation and BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with First class.
Fellowship Emoluments:
Rs 31,000 per month for JRF with applicable HRA and other components according to DRDO rules.
