Drone Show By IIT Delhi Start-up Earns Praise From Dharmendra Pradhan
New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi start-up ‘Botlab Dynamics’ hit the headlines for the spectacular drone show at the Beating Retreat ceremony here on Saturday, January 29. The show earned accolades from the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
“The dazzling drone show stole the limelight at the Raisina Hills today. What makes me more happy and proud is that these Made In India drones are a brainchild of a start-up incubated at IIT Delhi. Salute the innovative capital and entrepreneurial spirit of New India,” Pradhan tweeted.

Start-up ‘Botlab Dynamics’ supported by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi and the Department of Science and Technology, organised the drone show. As many as 1,000 “made in India” drones fabricated through indigenous technology illuminated the sky with synchronised background music played during the drone show, reported Careers360.
India on Saturday became the fourth country to perform the drone show at such a scale after China, Russia and the United Kingdom. The Beating Retreat ceremony signalled the close of the 73rd Republic Day celebrations that kicked off on January 23.
