DST Picks IIT-Kharagpur Professor For ‘50-Under-50’ Initiative
Kolkata: The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has chosen IIT-Kharagpur’s associate professor Dr Abhijit Mukherjee for its new initiative DST “50 under 50”.
Professor Mukherjee was conferred with the SS Bhatnagar Prize and Fellowship of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Cambridge, earlier in 2020.
The awardee is a leading expert in physical, chemical, isotope hydrogeology, water res. policy and governance, contaminant fate and transport, numerical and geochemical modelling, geologic control on hydrologic systems.
