New Delhi: The counting of votes for the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections 2026-27 began at the Multipurpose Hall of the University Sports Stadium in North Campus on Saturday.
Here are the latest trends for the four central panel posts up for grabs after round 14 of counting.
President: NSUI’s Vijay Shankar Meena leads with 16,107 votes, just one vote ahead of ABVP’s Yash Dabas, who has 16,106 votes.
Vice-president: Independent candidate Deepanshu Shokeen leads with 21,247 votes, followed by ABVP’s Ishu Maurya (10,920) and NSUI’s Vir Chatrath (4,911).
Secretary: ABVP’s Riya Chhawdi is leading with 13,737 votes, ahead of NSUI’s Namrata Chaudhary, who has 10,641 votes.
Joint secretary: NSUI’s Gopal Choudhary leads with 11,222 votes, followed by ABVP’s Lakshya Raj Singh (10,589) and SP’s Vishesh Yadav (10,405).
The high-stakes elections concluded on Friday, recording a voter turnout of 40.46%.
