New Delhi: The Union Education Ministry has nominated a total of 46 candidates to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea for the Global Korea Scholarship 2021.
“Based on the criteria for nomination, 46 candidates have been nominated to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea under master’s/doctoral/research programmes,” read a statement issued by the ministry.
“Final selection of candidates for award of this scholarship rests with the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) of the Republic of Korea,” it added. Out of a total 46, 33 candidates have been nominated for master’s, 11 for PhD and two candidates have been nominated for the research programme.
A total of 22 scholarships under ‘Embassy Track’ will be awarded to pursue master’s, doctoral and research programmes in South Korea, the statement added.
