Kolkata: Applications have been invited by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) for immediate engagement of the Teaching Faculty in the post of Assistant Professor in ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka. ESIC is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
According to the advertisement, the engagement is initially for one year, which may be extended on yearly basis for a maximum period of 3 years, including the initial year.
The yearly extension will be granted subject to the satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
