IIT Delhi, which is conducting the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)- 2020, has released the mock test link on the official website http://gate.iitd.ac.in
Candidates, who have registered for GATE 2020, were looking forward to the mock test as the upcoming exam will be conducted under the revised pattern. They can click here to visit the mock test page.
GATE 2020 will be conducted February 1, 2, 8 and 9 through the Computer Based Test (CBT). The scores will be valid for 3 years.
Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and or financial assistance to master’s programmes and direct doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture.
GATE scores are also evaluated for admission to doctoral programmes in relevant branches of Science, in the institutions supported by the HRD Ministry and other Government agencies.
Even in some colleges and institutions, which admit students without the HRD Ministry scholarship or assistantship, the GATE qualification is mandatory. Many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been using the GATE score in their recruitment process.
