GATE-2020 Registration Deadline Extended Once Again

The registration deadline for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineer (GATE) 2020, has once again been extended due to heavy traffic in the application portal.

The last date for registration has now been extended to September 28.

The registration window was scheduled to close on Thursday, September 26.

In a statement issued on Thursday, IIT Delhi, the organiser of this year’s exam said, the registration period has been extended “because of heavy load in the GATE application portal”. Early on Tuesday, it had extended the last date for registration to Thursday.

The online application window of GATE registration 2020 was opened on September 3, 2020.

Candidates can enter http://gate.iitd.ac.in/ and click on the link at the top of the home page.

The exams will be conducted on February 1,2,8 and 9 and the results will be announced on March 16.

The exam would purely be computer-based and the GATE 202 scores will be valid for three years.

Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission or financial assistance to the master’s programme support by the Human Resource Development Ministry and other government organisations.
