GATE 2022: IIT-Kharagpur Extends Application Deadline; Know Details

New Delhi: IIT-Kharagpur, the administering body of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022, has decided to extend the GATE 2022 application deadline till September 28. Earlier, the deadline was Friday, September 24.

“Due to technical problems, the Application deadline has been extended upto 28th September, 2021,” read a statement on the website.

Candidates having already completed any government-approved degree programme in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, or Arts or currently studying in the third or higher years of any undergraduate degree course can apply for GATE 2022.

The application process for GATE 2022 began on September 2. Students are allowed to register online at the GATE 2022 website — gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

GATE 2022, scheduled to be held in February 2022, will be an online computer-based test. The GATE 2022 objective type paper will comprise three patterns of questions — multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
