GATE 2025 Results Today: Check Scorecard, Cutoff, and Other Key Details

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will announce the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) results today, March 19, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results online by logging in with their credentials and downloading their scorecards. The GATE 2025 results will be available at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

To access the GATE 2025 results, applicants must log in with their application/enrollment number and password on the official website. They can view their scores, qualification status (pass/fail), subject-wise and category-wise cut-off marks, and other relevant details. 

Candidates can download their GATE 2025 scorecards between March 28 and May 31, 2025. After this period, a fee of Rs 500 per test paper will be required to obtain the scorecard. The GATE 2025 scorecard will remain valid for three years from the date of the result declaration.

However, GATE is a national-level exam that assesses undergraduate knowledge in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities. GATE 2025 is being conducted by IIT Roorkee in computer-based test (CBT) mode and is organized by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The GATE 2025 provisional answer key was released on February 27, with objections accepted until March 1. The final answer key is expected to be released along with the results. The exam was conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 in CBT mode, with two sessions per day: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm.

Steps to Check GATE 2025 Result

  1. Go to the GOAPS portal website.
  2. Log in with your enrollment ID or email address and password.
  3. Click on the ‘GATE 2025 Result’ tab.
  4. Your result will be displayed on the screen, including your marks, candidate details, and the qualifying cutoff for 2025.
  5. Download and save the scorecard for future use.

A valid GATE score is valid for admission to M.Tech, M.S., and M.Sc programs at top institutes like IITs, IISc, and NITs, securing scholarships and fellowships for post-graduation, and qualifying for PSU recruitment, where companies assess candidate’s technical skills.
