GATE 2026 Paper-wise Examination Schedule Released

GATE 2026 will be conducted in two shifts each day and the results will be published on March 19, 2026.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026.

The detailed schedule (exam date, time and paper code) is available at the official website of GATE 2026, i.e. gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

GATE 2026 will be conducted in two shifts each day. The morning session will be held between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm, and the afternoon session will be conducted between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm.

IIT Guwahati will publish the result on March 19, 2026.

The official GATE 2026 website is gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The application process began on August 25, with the last date to apply being September 28 (without late fees) and October 9 (with late fees).

Earlier, the GATE exam committee announced that it would take steps to prevent a scheduling conflict with the Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026.
