HPCL Invites Application For Graduate Apprentice Trainee Posts

NEW DELHI: The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has launched the process for graduate apprentice trainee posts in engineering wing comprising civil, mechanical, electrical, electrical and electronics, electronics & telecommunication, instrumentation and Computer Science or IT.

Important dates

Commencement of online application on HPCL portal: May 16, 2025

Last date for submitting online application on HPCL portal: May 30, 2025

Age limit

Candidates aged 18 and 25 years as on May 30, 2025 are eligible to apply. However, an age relaxation by 5 years is application for the SCs and STs, three years for OBC-NC and 10 years for PwBD candidates.

Academic qualification

Candidates belonging to general, OBC-NC, EWS categories should have completed Graduation in engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science/IT] with 60% aggregate marks in all semesters.

The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/(Visually Handicapped, Hearing Handicapped, Orthopedically Handicapped) must have obtained 50% aggregate marks in all semesters.

Stipend

A stipend of Rs.25000 for Engineering Graduates (Rs 20,500 will be paid by HPCL & Rs 4500 will be directly paid to apprentices by GOI as per DBT scheme) will be offered.

Selection process

Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria will be called for interview scheduled for June, in order of the category wise and stream wise merit list as per cut off marks decided by HPCL.

All India merit list will be drawn basis the academic results of engineering degree and scores in the interview

Final offer for apprenticeship training would be subject to medical fitness as per HPCL standards and submission of all documents / certificates towards proof of age, qualifications, caste, medical certificate of PwBD and medical fitness etc., as applicable.

How to register

Step 1: Candidates should register themselves through apprentice application link https://jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/recruitlogin.jsp using the option – “Sign up for New”

Step 2: After registration, candidates will receive details of login and password on their email ID provided for registration

Step 3: Click on link https://jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/recruitlogin.jsp through login credentials

Step 4:  Fill the application.

Step 5:  Select the Engineering Branch from the dropdown list

Step 6: Fill personal details as mentioned on the application form.

Step 7:  Click on Validate your details.

Step 8: Once validated, click on Save & Next to move to next part of application form.

Step 9: Fill contact details.

Step 10: Select preference interview city from the dropdown list.

Step 11:  Validate your details, save & next to move to next part of Application Form

Step 12: Fill qualification details.

Step 13:Upload recent passport sized photograph and signature.

Step 14:  Verify details in application preview

Step 15: Check boxes of declaration and click on final submit.

Step 16: After submission of application, candidates will receive confirmation email on their

registered email ID with HPCL Application Number.
