New Delhi: Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal on Wednesday launched VidyaDaan 2.0 programme to invite contributors to share quality content digitally for students.
The HRD minister also informed that contributors can use the content contribution tool with a structured interface on VidyaDaan to register and contribute content for any grade and any subject as required by the states or UTs.
Interested contributors can share explanatory videos, animations, teaching videos, lesson plans, assessments and question banks in the prescribed format.
A panel of academic experts will review the shared content and upload it for use on the DIKSHA app.
In an official statement, the Ministry of HRD said, “The programme has been launched due to the increasing requirement for e-learning content for students (both school and higher education), especially in the backdrop of the situation arising out of COVID- 19 and also due to the urgent need to integrate digital education with schooling to augment learning.”
Soon, VidyaDaan programme will be inviting contributions for teacher training material also.
