New Delhi: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has declared the PO exam 2021 for the recruitment of 4,135 in probationary officer posts in nationalised banks.
The IBPS PO 2021 notification, released on October 19, stated the details of the recruitment exam — selection process, eligibility condition, pre-exam training have been given.
Out of 4,135 vacancies, 912 posts are available in the Union Bank of India. A total of 650 and 620 vacancies are available in Canara Bank and Central Bank of India, respectively.
There are 588 PO vacancies in the Bank of India and 98 in the Indian Overseas Bank. UCO Bank and Punjab and Sind bank have 440 and 427 vacancies, respectively.
Bank of Maharashtra has 400 vacancies while there are no vacancies in Bank of Baroda, according to IBPS.
The preliminary exam for the PO recruitment will be conducted between December 4 and 11. The IBPS will hold the main exam in January 2022. Candidates can apply for the IBPS PO exam between October 20 and November 10.
