NEW DELHI: The registration window for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs 15) for the recruitment of Group “A” Officers (Scale 1, 2 and 3) and Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose) has opened.
Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official IBPS website www.ibps.in.
The last day for submission of application is September 21. The application correction window will remain open for two days after the registration deadline.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: vacancy details
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 8,183 posts
- Officer Scale 1 (PO): 4,256 posts
- Officer Scale 2 (Manager): 1,047 posts
- Officer Scale 3 (Senior Manager): 220 posts
Pre-Examination Training (PET) will be conducted in November. Call letters for the online preliminary examination for Officers and Office Assistants will be available for download between November and December 2026, said the official notification.

IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Exam pattern and selection process
For the posts of Officer Scale 1 and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the examination will be held in two tiers, Preliminary and Main examinations, both in online mode.
For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination need to appear for the Main Examination.
Candidates will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained in the Main examination and the actual vacancies reported by the RRB of the State/UT applied for.
For the post of Officer Scale 1, candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination need to appear for the Main Examination. Candidates shortlisted in the Main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks, with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS, in consultation with the appropriate authority.
For the posts of Officer Scale 2 (Generalist and Specialist) and Scale 3, candidates will appear for a single online examination. Candidates shortlisted in the single online examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks, with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS, in consultation with the appropriate authority.
The validity of the Common Recruitment Process for RRBs-15 will automatically expire one year after the date of provisional allotment or when a fresh provisional allotment is made, whichever is earlier, with or without notice.
IBPS will inform shortlisted candidates about the Main Examination. There will be a single-level examination for Officer Scale 2 and Officer Scale 3. IBPS will declare the results of the Main/Single Examination and inform shortlisted candidates about the interview for Officers Scale 1, 2 and 3.
How to apply for IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026
Step 1: Visit the official website, www.ibps.in
Step 2: Select the application link “CRP for Regional Rural Banks” and select the post you wish to apply for
Step 3: Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to open the online application form.
Step 4: Enter your basic information, including name, contact details, and valid email address.
Step 5: The system will generate a provisional Registration Number and Password and an SMS and email containing these credentials will also be sent.
Step 6: Upload the scanned copy of your photograph, signature, and left thumb impression as per the prescribed file sizes and guidelines.
Step 7: Upload the scanned copy of your hand-written declaration in the exact specified format.
Step 8: Complete the remaining sections of the form with your personal details, educational qualifications, work experience (if applicable), and local language proficiency.
Step 9: Click on the Preview tab to review the application form before final submission.
Step 10: Click on ‘COMPLETE REGISTRATION” (or Final Submit) after verifying all details.
Step 11: Click on the Payment tab and proceed to make the payment online using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, or Mobile Wallets.
Step 12: Print and save the e-receipt along with the submitted online application form for your records.
