ICAI Releases Revised Schedule For CA 2025 Final, Intermediate Exam In Punjab And Jammu
The admit cards already issued by ICAI will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, the ICAI says in a notification
NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announces the revised schedule for Chartered Accountant (CA) September Final and Intermediate examinations that were cancelled in Punjab and Jammu in view of flood situations.
Scheduled to be held on September 3 and September 4 earlier, the CA Final (Group I) paper – 1, financial reporting paper will be held on September 24 and the CA Intermediate (Group I) paper – 1, advanced accounting exam will be conducted on September 25, said a notification issued by the ICAI.
The rescheduled examinations, will be held at the same examination centres and at the same timings – between 2 pm and 5 pm (IST). The admit cards already issued by ICAI would remain valid for the rescheduled dates, the institute said while announcing the revised dates.

The postponement of the ICAI CA May 2025 exam came amid intense rainfall and flood situation in cities of Punjab in Amritsar, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi, Gobindgarh, Pathankot, Patiala and Sangrur and Jammu City only.
The notification said that other particulars and details as announced earlier will remain unchanged. The candidates are advised to stay in touch with the website of the Institute, icai.org.
“There would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination scheduled being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Holiday,” the notification said.
The ICAI CA September 2025 Foundation exam dates are September 16, 18, 20 and 22. The September 2025 Examinations will also be held at nine overseas examination cities in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat and Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
The examination commencement timing at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat Centres will be 12.30 pm — Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat local time corresponding/ equivalent to 2 pm (IST).
The examination commencement timing at Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait and Riyadh centres will be 11.30 am — Bahrain, Doha / Kuwait / Riyadh local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 pm (IST). The examination commencement timing at Kathmandu (Nepal) centre will be 2.15 pm Nepal local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 pm (IST). The examination commencement timing at Thimpu (Bhutan) centre will be 2.30 pm Bhutan local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 pm (IST).
