The ICAR NET 2019 examination schedule has been postponed by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), from December 2019 to January 2020. Previously the exam was scheduled to be conducted from December 9 to 15, 2019. Now it will be conducted from January 6 to 10, 2019. According to an official notice, the ICAR NET 2019 examination was rescheduled because of some administrative reasons and the admit card for the same will be released soon by the board on the official website site.

ICAR NET (Indian Council of Agricultural Research – National Eligibility Test) is conducted as an eligibility test for the position of Lecturers, Assistant Professors in the State Agricultural Universities and other Agricultural Universities. The qualifying NET certificates will be issued certificates by the ASRB which will enable them to apply against the vacancies in the State Agricultural Universities and other Agricultural Universities.
ICAR NET 2019 will be conducted on computer-based mode across the different designated centres. It will be conducted as a single paper for 150 marks which will consist of 150 objective type questions. The examination will be conducted for a duration of two hours and each question will carry one mark.
