ICMAI CMA: Cost And Management Accountancy Examination Dates For December 2024 Session Declared

HYDERABAD: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has announced the examination schedule for Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) foundation, intermediate and final examinations for the December session.

The CMA final and intermediate examinations will begin on December 10, 2024 and continue until December 17, 2024. The CMA examination for foundation course is slated for December 15, 2024. The examination will have four papers to be conducted in two shifts— from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The first examination for CMA final will be held for corporate and economic laws, while the last exam will be for electives. The examination for intermediate course will begin with business laws and ethics. It will conclude with management accounting paper.

The foundation examination will be conducted in MCQ and OMR-based mode at offline centres. Each paper will have 50 multiple choice questions, carrying 100 marks. Each session will have 100 multiple choice questions, carrying 200 marks. There is no negative marking.

Candidates for the intermediate and final examinations need to submit application forms in online mode only.

The exam fees need to be submitted online. Forms and DD payment will not be accepted offline.

The last date for submission of application forms for the Intermediate and final examinations is October 10, 2024, while the same for the foundation examination is October 15, 2024.

The ICMAI has made it clear that the last date of submission of application forms for December 2024 examination will not be extended.

The examination results will be declared by February 21, 2025.
