New Delhi: The ICMR-National Institute of Pathology, VMMC, and Safdarjung Hospital Campus, New Delhi has released an official notification inviting all the interested and eligible candidates for Contract Staff: Specific for COVID-19 Testing Lab. The candidates can send the application for ICMR NIP Recruitment 2021 for Lab Technician, Contract Technical Assistant, and Contract Scientist-B (Non-Medical) till May 9 (up to 5 pm).
The posts are purely on a temporary basis (contractual) up to July 31, 2021 (fixed emoluments).

Educational qualification
Contract Scientist B (Non-Medical): First class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences from a recognised university with two years of work experience. OR second class postgraduate degree in the above subject with PhD in a relevant subject.
Contract Technical Assistant: Graduate in Life Science – Subjects relevant to present need, with three years’ work experience or Postgraduate Degree in that subject.
Lab Technician: Class XII pass in Science — Subject 2-year diploma in DMLT OR 1 year DMLT with one-year required experience in a recognised organisation or two years of field/laboratory experience.

Pay scale
- Contract Scientist B (Non-Medical): Rs 54,300(Consolidated) (Rs 48,000+HRA Rs 6300 Per month)
- Contract Technical Assistant: Rs 31,000 Per month (Fixed)
- Lab Technician: Rs 18,000 Per month (Fixed)
