IGNOU Introduces MA In Journalism
The Programme Will Be Offered Through Open And Distance Mode
New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the launch of MA programme in Journalism & Mass Communication in open and distance mode from the January 2020 session.
The programme will be imparted through a blend of theory and practical classes, said a statement issued by the university.
“The programme will be useful for those who intend to make a full-time career in the print media, radio, television, new media, advertising, public relations, media research and development media sectors. It will be equally relevant for those who are already employed in any of these media and would like to upgrade their knowledge and skills,” the statement said.
Duration:
The programme will be of two-year duration but the candidates will be given an additional three years to complete the course.
Eligibility:
Bachelors degree in any discipline.
Course fee: Rs 25,000
