New Delhi: Students who wish to seek admission to the under graduate and post graduate programmes in IGNOU should not lose heart if they have missed the registration deadline.
The university, in a latest notification, has announced the extension of admission deadline to September 30 for all the courses except a select few.
The deadline has not been extended for courses such as Bachelor of Communication, Master of Communication and Master of Tourism & Travel Management.
Admission to IGNOU, the largest open university in the world, is conducted in January and in July.

The university offers a host of programmes for students in collaboration with various other institutes. In July, it launched a certificate programme in Yoga. The course, however, will be offered in select regional centres – Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ladnun, Mumbai and Pune of the university.
