HYDERABAD: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for new admission and re-registration for the programmes in July 2024 session. As per the revised schedule, the deadline has been extended till August 31.
Earlier, the IGNOU extended the deadline until August 14, which has now been extended further till August 31.
This extension in the deadline for registration applies to all programmes offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online mode, the IGNOU said.
Students who want to pursue the online courses can apply at the official website of IGNOU: ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
The students interested in ODL programme can visit the website: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
For new admissions, students interested to enrol in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes can apply through the designated ODL and online portals.
The existing students who need to re-register for the next semester or academic year can do so by visiting the re-registration portal. Re-registration is needed to continue the courses.
How to register
First-time applicants need to click the available programme tab on the homepage of the online admission system and select the desired programme
Click on the New Registration button in the applicant login area and fill the required details
Provide own email and mobile number at the time of registration
After filling the mandatory information click the ‘submit’ button
Candidates will get username via e-mail and SMS
Registered candidates can login using username and password
Candidates must have the following documents while applying for IGNOU courses
- Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
