IGNOU July 2025 Re-registration Deadline Extended, Check The Details

Students can re-register them for the programmes on the official website, onlinerr.ignou.ac.in by July 15

NEW Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to apply for re-registration against the July 2025 academic session.

Students who wish to apply for the July 2025 session will get another fortnight to register for the programmes at the official website, onlinerr.ignou.ac.in. The last date for registration is July 15.

The candidates who have already registered need to use their username and password to log in.

In case, candidates face difficulty in registering on the portal – not getting OTP, forgot username, password, or other difficulty – the regional centre should be approached for resetting of the account or updating of email ID and mobile number.

Candidates will have the option to cancel their application directly through the registration portal.

It is important to note that requests for application cancellation should not be sent via email or through iGRAM.

Once an application is canceled, it cannot be reinstated, and any applicable refund will be processed according to the university’s policies.

How to apply IGNOU Re-registration 2025

Step 1: Visit the official website, ignou.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login.

Step 2: Enter your enrollment number and password.

Step 3: The dashboard of the candidate will open and it will have an option of re-registration.

Step 4: Select the link and select courses, complete the payment.

Step 5: Download the application for references.

In case online payment made by the candidate does not get updated, IGNOU asks the candidates to not make the second payment immediately.

“Please wait for a day, check the payment status and then decide,” IGNOU website says.

In case, the payment is made twice for the same application, one of the payments will be refunded to the account.

In case, candidates use third-party services – cybercafé or some other outlet, for submission of re-registration form, it must be ensured that the courses have been correctly chosen and payment of programme fee has been made successfully.
