IIM Ahmedabad Completes 15th PGPX Batch Placement; 137 Students Offered Jobs

Ahmedabad: The final placement process was completed by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) for its one-year full-time Postgraduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX).

According to the final placement report on September 27, as many as 137 students from the 15th batch of PGPX have got placements.

Out of the 137 students, 119 got offers via the IIMA placement system, 17 got on their own while 1 took up entrepreneurship, reported Careers360.

A total of 120 companies took part in the campus recruitment process held virtually. According to the institute, they have offered different roles to the PGPX graduates — from CEOs to Heads of departments.

The largest recruiters this year were Information Technology (IT) companies. They hired 37 per cent of the batch this year, followed by Healthcare (13 per cent) BFSI (12 per cent), and Consulting (10 per cent) sectors.
