Kolkata: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta has called for applications for the Faculty Posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply before December 14.
The recruitment drive aims at filling the faculty positions in the areas of Business Ethics and Communications, Economics, Finance and Control, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Operations Management and Organisational Behaviour.

Eligibility:
For Professor: The candidates shall be Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate area. They also need to have a minimum of ten years of Teaching/Industry/Research experience of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor at IIMs or other peer institutes in India/abroad.
Associate Professor: The candidates shall be Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate area. They shall also have a minimum of six years of Teaching/Industry/Research experience, of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor at IIMs or other peer institutes in India/abroad.
Assistant Professor: The candidates shall be Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate area and at least three years of industrial/research/teaching experience, excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing a Ph.D.
Assistant Professor Grade I: The candidates shall be Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate area and none to three years of experience in Teaching/Industry/ Research experience; excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. Those about to complete their doctoral degree may also apply. The position will be on a contract basis for the first three years.
Salary:
Professor: Rs 1,59,100 – Rs 2,20,200
Associate Professor: Rs 1,39,600 – Rs 2,11,300
Assistant Professor: Rs 1,31,400 – Rs 2,04,700
Assistant Professor Grade I: Consolidated pay will be fixed as per level 12.
