IIM Mumbai, TalentSprint Offer PG Diploma Programme In Financial Economics and Management

HYDERABAD: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai and edtech major TalentSprint have launched a PG diploma programme in Financial Economics and Management.
This comprehensive post graduate diploma blends the rigour of academic excellence with practical insights and expertise in the financial industry.
This programme offers participants 600 hours of interactive online learning with a comprehensive understanding of essential concepts, including accounting, investment and risk management, macroeconomic trends, managerial and analytical frameworks, behavioural finance, and financial regulations.
The curriculum emphasises practical application through case studies, real-world projects, and an immersive one-week experience at IIM Mumbai.
This 45-credit course is designed for freshers and working professionals and is offered in collaboration with National Stock Exchange (NSE) as the knowledge partner, a notice issued by the institute said.
The program offers a blend of online flexibility and immersive on-campus experience at the IIM Mumbai campus.

Admission for the one-year programme is open and the course begins in January 2025.
Eligibility criteria
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Economics, Commerce, Management, Mathematics and Statistics with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to the SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories), awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India OR declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Selection Process
Candidates need to appear for a written examination followed by an interview.
They need to take IIM Mumbai’s IMAT exam scheduled on January 12, 2025.
Professionals working in PSUs with over 15 years of experience have a unique advantage—they are exempt from the test requirement but must participate in the interview process.
