IIM Udaipur Ropes In Quikr To Train Students Of Digital Management Prog
Jaipur, 9 October 2019: Quikr, a leading classified and advertising platform, has signed an MoU with IIM Udaipur to equip students with knowledge of digital business and the way digital technologies are changing economies the world over.
Under the MoU, Quikr will provide industry exposure to students who would be enrolling for IIM Udaipur’s one-year MBA course in Digital Enterprise Management (DEM). The first batch will commence from 2020-21 academic session.
It will also participate in student mentorship by conducting workshops on trending digital technologies, providing inputs to the curriculum structure from time-to-time and giving access to Quikr case studies and research material to hone skillsets, said a statement issued by IIM Udaipur.
Quikr and IIM Udaipur students will work on co-creating knowledge in the form of research papers, white papers, and an industry-level framework to do joint research in the areas of mutual interests. Quikr will also provide short term projects to IIMU students in order to expose them to real-world challenges in the digital world, the statement added.
“India is already one of the largest and fastest-growing markets for digital consumers. Therefore, with this tie-up, Quikr will enhance IIM Udaipur students’ ability to be a part of this revolution by making them into the first set of managers in the country who are explicitly trained in the world of digital business,” it underlined.
The Digital Enterprise Management Program is a full-time one-year residential programme. Interested candidates can apply online through the IIM Udaipur website.
