IIT-Bhubaneswar Among Top Engineering Colleges In India; IIT-Madras Ranked First
Bhubaneswar: For students who opt for engineering after Class XII exams, the top choice is always the Indian Institute of Technology if he/she decides to pursue studies in India. The government releases the rankings of these engineering colleges every year.
This year too, the central government had put out the list of top engineering colleges. IIT Madras topped the chart while IIT Delhi secured second place, according to the 2021 gradation. The city-based IIT Bhubaneswar is placed at number 20.
Education Bytes picks the 20 most sought-after government engineering colleges, where millions of meritorious students seek admission. Government colleges are ranked higher than the private ones for better infrastructure, faculty and government support. All these colleges provide admission through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
