New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has rolled out a seven‑month executive programme aimed at professionals aspiring to strengthen leadership skills and strategic expertise.

The initiative is tailored for the growing role of chief of staff, equipping participants with capabilities in business understanding, leadership, communication, cross‑functional coordination, and execution of organisational priorities.

“The chief of staff position requires professionals to combine strategic thinking with leadership and operational capabilities,” said Sanjay Dhir, professor of strategic management and programme coordinator.

The curriculum covers areas such as executive leadership support, stakeholder management, organisational alignment, business transformation, project execution, decision‑making, and technology‑driven approaches.

Learning will be delivered through live online sessions, case discussions, practical frameworks, and applied assignments, culminating in a capstone project.

An optional campus immersion at IIT Delhi will allow participants to engage directly with faculty and peers. “This format enables professionals to pursue executive education without taking a break from their careers,” added Sonali Jain, associate professor of finance.

The programme reflects IIT Delhi’s push to prepare leaders for complex, modern business environments where strategy and execution must align seamlessly.
